I'm Steven. I enjoy taking pictures. Actually, I love it. Seeing an image through the viewfinder or on the screen. Realizing no one has ever or will ever see the exact image in the exact way I do at that exact moment. It’s a little overwhelming sometimes. Seeing it, capturing it, creating it, and ultimately sharing it. To sense a reaction. To strike a chord. To provide and freeze a moment forever. Such a rewarding, magical experience.
I love the people who entrust me to capture their images. I am honored and humbled to be given that permission. I love what I do and take it very seriously. But I don’t take myself seriously. And that seems to work for me. My style is relaxed. I like to take in the moment and capture images with the person on the other side of the lens just as relaxed; in his/her element. The best results happen there.
